The Service Charge Accounting module provides a consolidated profit and loss summary of service charge budgets and expenditure for tenancy agreements.
Current and future service charge periods can be set at portfolio or property unit levels. Multiple expense groups can be rapidly created using a wizard utility, reflecting general ledger codes.
Recovery of costs incurred can be modelled using several methods, such as area, rate value or percentage.
When commencing service charge years, annual increases are applied to prior the year’s budget. On account service charges are automated, and fixed and capped service charges with a period end option are also easily handled and reconciled.
Optionally, service charge expenditure can be imported from corporate accounts systems via bespoke interfaces.
